So its been a while since i posted. I will try to be more on top of it plus its spring and I have so many things to share to help you with your journeys.
But let start with how to walk in heels now I know I can walk in some pretty fierce stiletto's better then most of my women Friends can walk in even kitten heels but there is always things to remember and to learn in life and as we all know knowledge is power and practice makes perfect!!! so check out this video it is kinda funny but really does nail not only the basics but really good tips to look more fem and help in situations we will run into (running! Stairs!) oh and pay close attention to the hip sway so good to learn definitely should practice that as often as possible so it becomes like second nature when the heels go on the hip starts to naturally sway.
Hope You Enjoy.
P.S. I found some good belly , butt exercise videos I'll post this weekend!!!!

The most wonderful time of year!
So everyone talks about Halloween and it is truly great we can go out in whatever we want . People will think its funny or awesome etc mean while were like screaming on the inside THIS IS ME !!!!!! but were just so excited to be out and dressed with zero stress because even the biggest bigot or homophobic person will laugh. But now that season is over and its truly the best season for a trans/cd person because its the one time of the year that anyone can walk into any store and buy anything with out getting looks or comments or even yourself feeling that everyone is watching and judging you even if their not , But its even better yet even better then being able to go anywhere and buy anything people will HELP YOU!!!! store clerks and even customers it truly the best time to go out and get those heels or skirt even make up .
What I found that makes me chuckle to myself is how eager people are to help . I still haven't gone out in public dressed for real other then a few Halloween's way back "as a joke" .... but I always have high hopes that I will so I decided that if I was going to I would need to forgo the usual "sexy" short tight skirts and 5 inch heels and look more appropriately dressed for the mall . You want to blend so wearing an evening gown and being 7 feet tall cause your rocking 6 inch heels you might just stand out anyway besides any other indications your a man in women's clothes. So anyway I decided to go and find a nice knee length sweater dress and some kitten heel to 2 inch heeled calf high boots . As I'm looking through the racks I can't figure what size will hang just above my knee and I notice a lady holding dresses up to herself to see the length . I leaned over and said I noticed how she was holding them up is that accurate and she said " it's pretty close how tall is she?" I quickly relied on my guy instincts and was like " I don't know I guess close to my height maybe an inch shorter and a little thinner but with bigger boobs and butt I guess?!" Well what happened next was magical and humorous she said "man a lot of women would die for a guy like you " then she said here let me show you and started holding dresses up to me to see the length and then another women joined in and was like this one here is really nice she would love it and as this women held it up to me she said see this is the perfect height .
I then did something I never did nor thought I would ever do. I took that dress and walked to the men's dept. and looked at some jeans they had on sale I found my size and the next size bigger and went to fitting room with jeans and dress in hand. I told the lady at the door I wanted to try on these jeans and I was going to get this dress for my wife and there's alot of people going through the dress rack and I didn't want to loose it so I was going to keep it with me as I tried on jeans and she said " I can't blame you that's a really good price on those dresses" so I went in and tried on that dress and twirled around in the mirror and just enjoyed the moment.. needless to say I got dress and no jeans!!!
Now try doing any of that in July!!!!!! In closing all I can say is Gurls go out and shop!!!!! get your outfits get your make up and shoes etc. and take advantage of the free female help we all wish we had . Ask about colors and cuts/fits shades of make up use yourself as and example as I did just act clueless and helpless and at this time of year everyone is helpful and a bit naive!!!!

Reprieve: looking like your favorite celebrity
So a while back back I stated if I could obtain a look it would resemble Taylor Swift and trust me I wish I could she is stunning but in my knuckleheadedness (if that's a word LOL!) What I meant to say was Carrie Underwood and I think its because she always looks good yet very simple and I think its an easily obtainable look. I'm sure I or most of us couldn't or wouldn't look like a celebrity we would want to look like but I think its a good place and way to start.
We get alone we get all excited we gather up our wears and start our transformations. We have our outfits picked out we switch clothing around until we get the look or feel we are happy with then we go and pull out the make up we put on our moisturizer (yeah always moisturize before applying make up it works , looks and last so much better and actually helps with the clean up) we start putting on foundation we pick out what shadow to do our eyes we apply and wipe and reapply until we feel we look fierce!! then we go to blush and lip gloss oh skipped the all important concealer never forget that must cover our five o'clock shadows and imperfections!!! and WA-LA were done and looking like? maybe fab maybe drab but what about trying this..........
Since were men and probably for most I know for me its true our mothers never taught us about make-up and probably again our wives/girlfriend's or just girl friends don't even know you dress ( if that doesn't pertain to you god bless and please share with us who and how they showed you!!)
So I think the next time I get dressed I'm going to google pictures of Carrie Underwood (pick whom ever you would like to resemble) I'm going to pick the best and simplest picture of her face make it screen size and just try to mimic the picture as best as I can referring to it for pointers IE. how much liner did she use was it on full eye or just bottom was it two shades blended? What color shadow , was it bold or suttle? did she define her cheek bones with blush or just gently color cheeks?
I will let you know how this works I couldn't believe it wouldn't help it always good to 1) have an idea or vision of what look you want to go for 2) have a reference to the look to guide you and 3) really its your time enjoy it and have fun.. I will follow this posting up with pictures of me in make-up and then the picture of Carrie and her look and then of me after trying to obtain that look. And would welcome any and all feed back!!!
I would love to know who you celebrity look-a-like would be and really would enjoy seeing some pictures of the look and how it worked for you.
Plus if its always good to get feed back from non bias and support people so don't be shy and I won't either

a great article about feminizing your voice
Everyone please go check this out and sign up for the newsletter it is always filled with great content.
I cannot tell you how many times I have heard it before:
"I pass as a woman ... until I open my mouth."
If you are like most transgendered females I know, you must have
spent a LOT of time, energy and money perfecting your feminine
image. It has probably taken you years of practice to get your hair
and makeup right and you have undoubtedly spent hundreds - maybe
even thousands - of dollars on breast forms, wigs, and shoes.
Unfortunately, none of that matters the moment you are forced to
speak. If you cannot TALK like a woman, you are not going to pass.
Period.
It is your VOICE that makes or breaks you as a woman.
But you probably already know that. Knowing you need to work on
your voice is not the problem - it is the "doing something about it"
part that is so hard!
Voice feminization is one of the toughest parts of transitioning.
Sadly, there are very few transgendered females with passable
voices.
Therefore, if you want to feminize your voice better, there is a
new program available called the Voice Feminization Program by
Kathe Perez who is A certified Speech Language Pathologist for the
past 22 years.
